The Mayo GAA senior hurling management team of Brian Finn and Ray Larkin have named the same starting fifteen that played against Roscommon for their crucial Nicky Rackard All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final against Donegal this Sunday, June 2, at 4:15pm in Croke Park.

The side will be captained by Tooreen’s David Kenny from centre back with lively Shane Boland, Eoin Delaney and industrious Cormac Phillips leading the attack. The ever-dependable Bobby Douglas starts in goal with the assiduous Luke Connor and teak tough Conor Murray flanking Oisin Greally in the full back line. Conal Hession and Eoghan Collins are on the wings beside David Kenny in a powerful Mayo half-back line. Ballyhaunis club man Eoghan Collins played senior football for Clare and is a nephew of former Clare manager Colm Collins.

The hard-working John Heraty and the deadly accurate Sean Kenny continue at midfield with Sean Regan, the hard running Adrian Phillips and Liam Lavin completing the Mayo half forward line. There is one change on the Mayo bench with Sean Mulroy from Ballyvary Hurling Club coming in for Westport’s James Gallagher.

Down official Peter Owens will referee the Nicky Rackard cup final on Sunday.

The game is live on TG4 and on Midwest Radio with commentary from Michael D McAndrew and Frank Browne. Mayo GAA will have live updates and all the reaction afterwards across all Mayo GAA social media channels on Sunday.
