Mayo manager Liam McHale has made two changes to his side for this Sunday's TG4 Connacht Senior Final against Galway in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar.

Ella Brennan and Saoirse Lally are drafted in, replacing Annie Gough and Suzanne Tuohy.

The sides have already met in the round-robin stages, in what was a dead rubber as both sides had already progressed to the final.

Galway won comfortably on that occasion by 2-13 to 0-9 and based on form to date in 2025, it’s difficult to see past the Tribeswomen again.

Galway were in experimental mode when they met Mayo recently, taking the opportunity to run the rule over a number of players.

For the final, they’ve made six changes in personnel, with Sarah Ní Loingsigh, Chellene Trill, Louise Ward, Olivia Divilly, Lynsey Noone and Róisín Leonard named to start.

Dropping out of the team are Aoibhinn Eilian, Charlotte Cooney, Aisling Madden, Leanne Coen, Eva Noone and Shauna Hynes.

The winners of this one will join Donegal and Tipperary in Group 1 of the TG4 All-Ireland Championship, with the provincial runners-up pitted with the Munster champions, Kerry or Waterford, and Cork.

Mayo: Julia Gawalkiewicz; Lucy Wallace, Nicola O’Malley, Ciara Durkan; Sherin El Massry, Danielle Caldwell, Ella Brennan; Hannah Reape, Ciara Whyte; Ava McDonnell, Saoirse Lally, Chelsea Doherty; Erin Murray, Kathryn Sullivan, Sinead Walsh.

Galway: Dearbhla Gower; Bronagh Quinn, Sarah Ní Loingsigh, Kate Geraghty; Hannah Noone, Nicola Ward, Chellene Trill; Louise Ward, Siobhan Divilly; Olivia Divilly, Kate Thompson, Ailbhe Davoren; Lynsey Noone, Roisin Leonard, Kate Slevin.
