Mayo GAA senior football manager Kevin McStay has named the same fifteen players that started against Dublin last weekend for the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final tie against Derry this Saturday 22nd June at 6:30pm in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar.

In the absence of Paddy Durcan, Stephen Coen continues as captain.

Saturday evening's game will be the third championship meeting between Mayo and Derry.

In 2007, Derry won a Round 2 Qualifier by 2-13 to 1-6 in Celtic Park, while ten years later in MacHale Park, Mayo reversed this result winning by 2-21 to 1-13 after extra time in a Round 2A Qualifier.

A number of players from this encounter will feature for both counties on Saturday. Aidan O'Shea, Stephen Coen, Cillian & Diarmuid O'Connor and Conor Loftus all played that day for Mayo, with Paddy Durcan missing this weekend because of injury.

For Derry, Brendan Rogers, Ciaran McFaul, Chrissy McKaigue, Niall Loughlin, Shane McGuigan and Conor Doherty all played on that occasion.

Kildare's Brendan Cawley has been confirmed as the referee.

The game is live on GAAGO with live commentary on MidWest.

Mayo GAA will have live updates across all social media channels on Saturday evening.
