Mayo senior ladies footballers discover league schedule

In a carbon copy of Mayo’s senior men’s team, the senior ladies footballers of Mayo have been handed an away trip to Dublin in the opening round of the 2025 Lidl Ladies National Football League. Those two teams are joined in Division 1 next season by defending champions Armagh, All-Ireland winners Kerry, Meath, Waterford, this year’s Division 2 champions Kildare and beaten finalists Tyrone.
Mayo’s clash with Dublin will be played on Sunday, January 26 – the day after the two counties clash in Round 1 of Allianz Football League Division 1 at Croke Park.
The following weekend will see the Mayo ladies hit the road again, this time to play Meath in Round 2.
Their other Division 1 games are as follows: Round 3 – home v Tyrone, Sunday, February 9; Round 4 – away v Armagh, Saturday, February 22 (live on TG4 at 7.30pm); Round 5 – home v Kerry, Sunday, March 2; Round 6 – home v Kildare, Sunday, March 2; Round 7 – away v Waterford, Saturday, March 29 at 2.30pm.
The top two teams in Division 1 progress straight to the final which will be played in Croke Park on Sunday March 30.
