Mayo pub welcomes All-Ireland hurling champions
Members of the All-Ireland winning Limerick hurling side paid a visit to the popular Mayo bar at the weekend
Mayo’s All-Ireland heroes have been on a county-wide tour in recent weeks but the small-ball champs also made it to Mayo.
Members of the Limerick hurling side who claimed the Liam McCarthy Cup paid a visit to a well-known Mayo watering hole.
Cian Lynch, Kyles Hayes, Will O’Donoghue, and Barry Nash were among the Limerick stars who stopped off at legendary Tourmakeady bar Máire Lukes.
“One half of the All-Ireland Champions have arrived here at! What a privilege to welcome The Limerick Hurlers to Tourmakeady,” said the pub in a post on social media.
Now we are waiting for the all Ireland football champions Mayo to arrive!,” the bar added.
