Former Mayo minor and under-20 footballer Donovan Cosgrove has transferred to Wolfe Tones GAA in Australia.
Cosgrove’s transfer along with that of his Kiltimagh clubmate Dylan Roache to the same Melbourne-based club was approved earlier this month.
Cosgrove featured in Kiltimagh’s Mayo and Connacht junior football championship title wins and in last month's All-Ireland Club JFC semi-final loss to Ulster champions Eire Og.
Another player destined to play Down Under in 2026 is Evan Conmey from Kiltane who has transferred to Bondi Gaels.
Returning to Mayo for the 2026 club season however, is Brendan Conway who has transferred back to Ballycroy from McBrides in Chicago. The talented scoring midfielder will be a big addition to his native club who in his absence reached the quarter-finals of the Mayo JFC last season.
