Mayo captain Paddy Durcan has been nominated for GAA.ie Footballer of the Week following his heroic in the Green and Red's one-point victory over All-Ireland champions Dublin on Saturday night.

The Castlebar Mitchels man was nominated alongside Kerry's Seán O'Shea and Derry's Cormac Murphy.

Ballina Stephenites' defender Sam Callinan was also selected on the GAA.ie Team of the Week with Durcan.

The voting process is for Footballer of the Week is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.

Voting will close at 10am tomorrow and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.
