Mayo man nominated for Footballer of the Week

Donnacha McHugh has been nominated for GAA.ie Footballer of the Week following his performance in Mayo's victory over Roscommon in the Allianz National Football League.

Making significant progress, McHugh continues to impress for Mayo. The Castlebar Mitchels man was a key figure in Saturday evening's 0-15 to 0-9 triumph over their Connacht rivals.

Dublin's Ciarán Kilkenny and Kerry's Gavin White are the other two nominees.

The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.

Belmullet star forward Ryan O'Donoghue joins McHugh on the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week.

Galway duo Dylan McHugh and Rory Cunningham have also been selected.
