Mayo GAA star among contestants for unique fundraiser event

Castlebar Golf Club are delighted to announce “You Must Be Joking” a unique fundraiser event, kindly sponsored by TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on Saturday 14th Sept at 8pm.
Get ready for a great night’s entertainment at this unique fundraiser event where you will see some of Castlebar and Mayo’s well known faces step completely out of their comfort zone and dip their toes into the world of Stand-Up Comedy. Under the guidance of the extremely funny local comedian Ger Staunton, (who will also host the event), their fearless participants will have you laughing in the aisle - one way or another!
The eager 6 are of Breaffy and Mayo GAA fame; , from Mid-West Radio: , local businessman and star of many a local pantomime and musical; , of Mayo CoCo fame; , renowned chairperson of Celtic FC and , member of Cliff’s Journey fundraising committee.
Proceeds from the night will go to Castlebar Golf Club and also to Cliff’s Journey. Tickets are €28 each and are available online through Ticketmaster/Universe.com or from Castlebar Golf Club.
