Mayo GAA pay tribute to Ballina man following his passing

Luke FitzMaurice was a Connacht delegate and on the hurling committee in Croke Park.
Mayo GAA has paid tribute to Luke FitzMaurice, a former chairman and secretary of their hurling board, following his passing.
FitzMaurice, of Ballina and formerly of Kilkelly, was secretary of the north board from 1975 to 1992 and was also on the hurling committee in Croke Park.
The association said: "All at Mayo GAA express our sincere sympathy to Luke’s family and friends."
Mass of the Resurrection will take place in St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina on Friday, July 5, at 11.30am.
