Mayo GAA club wish talented player the 'very best' following notable move

Burrishoole GAA club have wished all the best to one of their members following a notable move.
Mayo footballer Maria Cannon has signed for Carlton Football Club in the AFLW - making her the seventh Irish player currently on the list across both AFL and AFLW programs at Carlton.
Burrishoole GAA said: "We will be beyond sad to see her go but we are very proud of Maria and her achievements.
"The second player from Burrishoole to be drafted down under following in the footsteps of her former manager Colm McManamon, we are thrilled to see Maria’s career progress. Our loss is Carlton’s Gain.
"Wishing Maria all the very best with everything Australia has in store."
