Mayo footballer nominated for Player of the Week award

A Mayo player has been nominated for GAA Footballer of the Week following an impressive display against Armagh yesterday.
Ballina Stephenites defender Sam Callinan has been nominated for the award after scoring two points in Mayo's one-point victory over Armagh in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.

The win ensured Andy Moran's side cemented their place in Division 1 for next year.
