Mayo duo remain with Sligo backroom team for 2025

Sligo GAA have confirmed the management group that will be working with senior football team manager Tony McEntee and assistant manager Joe Keane for the 2025 season.
Knockmore’s Kevin McLoughlin, who joined the Sligo management team at the beginning of the year will again be assisting next year for McEntee and Crossmolina native Keane. McLoughlin will have a special focus on forward play.
Colm McGee will join the coaching group working with the squad’s goalkeepers. McGee is current the senior team coach of Tubbercurry. In his playing days, he was a part of the forward line that won back to back league promotions from Division 4 to Division 2.
Armagh legend Aaron Kernan has also joined the backroom team as a defence coach. The Crossmaglen Rangers ended a 23-year playing career at the end of the 2023 season. This will be his first intercounty coaching role.
Sean Boyle remains in the strength and conditioning role, alongside his full-time role in Games Performance Development for Sligo GAA. Elsewhere, Dr Stephen Gilmartin will provide medical support, Alan Dunne will again be the athletic therapy lead and Aidan Carty will continue as kitman.
