SENIOR 

Group 1 

Westport 1-30 Charlestown Sarsfields 1-11 

It was a special day for Westport, who were playing at their new pitch in Jack Kenny Park for the first time. Both sides went two-point crazy, with captain Finbar McLaughlin kicking ten points, including four two-pointers, as the Coveys had too much for Charlestown.

Kilmeena 0-13 Claremorris 3-11 

Hurley twins Niall (two) and Dara found the net as the south Mayo men captialised on a lightning quick start to seal the win over Kilmeena.

Group 2 

Ballina Stephenites 0-11 Garrymore 1-12 

Caolan Crowe was the hero for the visitors as his second half goal helped propel Garrymore to the first shock of the championship away to the senior champions.

Group 3 

Crossmolina Deel Rovers 1-26 Ballintubber 0-22 

A goal from Jordan Flynn, along with two-pointers from younger brother Dylan, Conor Loftus and Cillian Fergus saw Crossmolina get off to a winning start at the expense of a stubborn Ballintubber.

Mayo Gaels 0-17 Aghamore 2-20 

Liam Lavin helped himself to 1-6, Fergal Boland scored 0-5 while Cillian Mooney also found the net as Aghamore recorded an impressive win in Mayo Abbey.

INTERMEDIATE 

Group 1 

Parke Keelogues Crimlin 2-9 Kiltane 1-16 

A third straight meeting in the group stages has produced the same outcome as Kiltane came away from Parke with a valuable two points.

Group 3

Davitts 3-22 Lahardane MacHale 0-15 

Niall Treacy scored 1-7, with the other goals coming from Ciaran Treacy and All-Ireland winner Fenton Kelly, as Davitts set up a mouthwatering Round 2 tie with Moy Davitts with a big win over Lahardane.

Moy Davitts 4-21 Louisburgh 0-10 

Two goals apiece from Cian McHale and Brian Heneghan helped an impressive Moy Davitts saunter to a 23-point victory over Louisburgh.

Group 4 

Kiltimagh 1-12 Islandeady 2-15 

It was a sobering return to intermediate football for Kiltimagh as Islandeady kept the Blues at arms reach for victory.

JUNIOR 

Group 2 

Moygownagh 1-11 Burrishoole 2-24 

There was no surprise factor in north Mayo as championship favourites Burrishoole, who led 2-12 to 0-6 at half-time, ran away commanding winners over Moygownagh.
