Mayo ladies manager Liam McHale has made one change for their final league game in Division 1 against Waterford this Saturday.

In defence, Nicola O’Malley makes her return from injury, coming in for Ciara Durkan in defence.

Despite finally getting their first points of the season last weekend, when they earned a one-point victory over Kildare, Mayo are still deep in relegation trouble.

The visitors need to win, and win well, and also hope that Tyrone get the better of Kildare.

Those results would leave Kildare, Tyrone and Mayo all locked together on six points, with two teams to go down.

In that case, scoring difference would come into play and before a ball is thrown in on Saturday, Kildare are best off in this regard (-16), with Tyrone on -59 and Mayo on -29.

Throw-in is at 2.30pm in Kilmacthomas. The game can be watched here.

Mayo: Julia Gawalkiewicz; Lucy Wallace, Nicola O’Malley, Sherin El Massry; Danielle Caldwell, Jenna Mortimer, Saoirse Lally; Hannah Reape, Aoife Geraghty; Chelsea Doherty, Erin Murray, Bree Hession; Annie Gough, Clodagh Keane, Sinead Walsh.
