Lahardane were the commanding winners of Group 4, beating second placed Swinford 0-12 to 0-6 in their last group game and have looked a real strong competitor so far.

Killala stuttered across the line in their defeat to Eastern Gaels 0-11 to 2-7 but their squad still has enough about it to get a good run. A resounding win over Kilmovee seemed to signal a strong year, and is a sign of the type of performance they are capable of with their tally of 3-10 that game.

With the likes of Iarla Quinn in a dangerous forward unit, they will look to put it up to the Lahardane backline.

Inspired by the performances of the likes of James Maughan and Adrian Leonard, Lahardane have never faltered and consistently have put in strong performances. Against Ballycroy and Moygownagh in their group, they amassed a combined 3-28 and it looks like they will carry that form into this clash.

If the supporting cast of Shane Finnerty, Shane Loftus, Kyran Jordan and more continue to perform, it will get Lahardane over the line. They will want to be wary of Killala, who will not allow it to be comfortable passage into the final four. Get by this game however, and Lahardane can really start to get excited about their chances of going the whole way. Their squad really has the making of potential winners.

VERDICT: LAHARDANE
