Galway look set to be without key forwards Shane Walsh and Damien Comer for this Sunday's Connacht final against Mayo.

Walsh has not featured for Galway since March, last seeing action when the Tribesmen lost to Dublin in Croke Park.

Comer came off the bench during their semi-final win over Roscommon in Salthill but it appears that he is not fit to take part in this weekend's decider.

Otherwise, Galway manager Padraic Joyce has kept faith with the starting line-up that comfortably beat Roscommon, with Peter Cooke also back in the matchday squad after missing last year's run to the All-Ireland final due to work commitments.

Galway: Connor Gleeson; Johnny McGrath, Seán Fitzgerald, Jack Glynn; Dylan McHugh, Sean Mulkerrin, Liam Silke; Paul Conroy, Seán Kelly; Céin Darcy, John Maher, Cillian McDaid; Matthew Tierney, Rob Finnerty, Matthew Thompson

Subs: Conor Flaherty, Daniel O'Flaherty, Cian Hernon, Kieran Molloy, Cathal Sweeney, John Daly, Sam O'Neill, Liam Ó Conghaile, Tomo Culhane, Colm Costello, Peter Cooke.
