Date, time, venue and referee confirmed for not so Wee showdown

Fresh from their triumph over Roscommon in last Wednesday’s Connacht final, Mayo have discovered the details of their All-Ireland U20 Football Championship semi-final showdown with Louth.

It was confirmed on Friday evening that the clash with the Leinster champions will be played on Friday, May 16 at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park in Longford. The game will throw-in at 7pm and must be finished on the evening. The referee is Conor Dourneen.

At that stage the identity of one All-Ireland finalist will be known as Kerry and Tyrone are due to face off in the other semi-final on Sunday, May 11 in O’Moore Park, Portlaoise.

Mayo secured their spot in the last four courtesy of a 2-17 to 4-8 win over the Rossies in the provincial decider at Tuam Stadium.
