Clubs in countdown mode for Mayo Senior Football League throw-in

The 2024 Mayo SFL will get underway this weekend with no shortage of interesting encounters across the divisions.
Last year’s Division 1 champions Castlebar Mitchels, who defeated Westport in the final, make the short trip through Turlough to take on Parke/Keelogues/Crimlin in Division 1A while Westport are at home against last year’s Division 2 semi-finalists Balla in Division 1B.
Knockmore, who fell to Mitchels on penalties in the 2023 semi-final, will make the trip south to take on Ballinrobe on Saturday while Division 2 champions Belmullet will begin life in the top tier when they welcome Ballyhaunis to Tallagh.
Division 3 champions Ardagh also make the trip south to play The Neale in Division 2B while runners-up Ardnaree have a North Mayo derby against Mayo and Connacht junior football champions Lahardane.
