Ballyhaunis GAA football and hurling managers depart

Ballyhaunis GAA have confirmed that senior football manager Derek Walsh and senior hurling manager Tadhg Buckley have both left the club.
Walsh, a former manager of the Mayo senior hurling team, was a year in charge of the Ballyhaunis footballers and guided them to Division 1 league football in 2024 as well as retaining their spot in the Mayo senior championship after beating The Neale in the relegation play-off final.
Buckley was five years in charge of the hurlers, the highlight being the 2020 Mayo hurling championship win after beating local rivals Tooreen in the final.
