Hogwarts swoops into Mount Falcon for Halloween treat

It was a very enjoyable week at Mount Falcon Estate for the special Halloween midterm event, which was enjoyed by young and not-so-young alike!

The Hogwarts Owlery at Mount Falcon Midterm Special Event went down very well with guests.

The event ran from Tuesday, October 31, to Friday, November 3.

In the wonderful fantasy universe, owls bridge the gap between the magical and muggle world, carrying messages, packages, and even Nimbus 2000s with ease, as they make it clear to muggles that when a message needs to get through, it will get through.

One Snowy Owl named Hedwig also provides warm companionship, when a lonely wizard named Harry needs it.

Children and adults alike met, held, and learned all about these amazing creatures from Mount Falcon’s head falconer Albus Dumbledore, and his trusty companions Anna and Ally.

Everyone enjoyed a hot chocolate on their arrival at Mount Falcon, and then walked through the woods to Mount Falcon’s Owlery, where a world of owl knowledge awaited them.

Prof Michael was on hand on the day, and captured special photographs of everyone with the owls, which were delivered by email (the owls were too busy to do this delivery).

All at Mount Falcon Estate were delighted to see everyone who dressed up as their favour character from Harry Potter.

“We hope that everyone enjoyed this special week at Mount Falcon Estate.

“It was great to see both young and old make their trip to Hogwarts,” a spokesperson from Mount Falcon said.
