Opel to launch new Astra models before July
The new Opel Astra and new Opel Astra Sports Tourer will launch in Ireland prior to the 262-registration plate of July 1st.
Following their world premieres at the Brussels Motor Show in January, the new Opel Astra and new Opel Astra Sports Tourer will launch in Ireland prior to the 262-registration plate of July 1st.
The new Astra is more modern, sharper and more distinctive than before. It comes with an upgraded interior and AGR Intelli-Seats as standard.
Depending on the variant, up to 1,339 litres of luggage can fit in the hatchback boot with seats folded down; the Astra Sports Tourer offers a load volume of up to 1,634 litres.
A wide choice in powertrains includes 145hp petrol hybrid, plug-in hybrid with up to 82km combined electric range, all-electric with 58kWh battery and improved range of up to 454km, or the the efficient 1.5 diesel powertrain.
Designed, engineered and built at Opel’s headquarters in Russelsheim, Germany, prices and standard equipment for the Irish market will be announced closer to the launch.
