New chapter for the iconic Nissan Micra

The all-new Nissan Micra has just been launched.

Nissan is delivering electric driving as it should be with the launch of the all-new Nissan Micra which makes it easier than ever before for drivers to fit EV driving into their everyday lives.

The arrival of the all-new Nissan Micra marks the start of a new chapter for the iconic car which first hit Irish roads over 40 years ago when it forged its reputation as one the most practical and affordable cars on the market.

The all-new fully electric Micra takes things to a new level, combining the car’s long-standing reputation for practicality and affordability with intuitive technology to make it the smart choice for everyday drivers making the switch to electric driving.

The all-new Micra is also more agile and comfortable than the previous five generations with its clever design, compact size and responsive handling making it fun to drive on busy city streets or winding country roads.

It starts at €25,995 and is available with a 40kWh battery offering a range of up to 317 kilometres, or a 52kWh battery offering a top range of 416 kilometres. Both variants support DC fast-charging up to 80 kW and 110 kW respectively.

The all-new Micra is available in three grades. The entry level Engage grade has a 40kWh battery and is priced at €25,995. The Advance grade is priced from €27,995 from the 40kWh version and from €30,995 for the 52kWh variant. The top of the range Evolve grade is only available with the 52kWh battery and is priced at €32.995. All prices include the SEAI grant of €3,500 and exclude delivery related charges.

The exterior of the all-new MICRA is SUV-inspired, but right-sized for agility on narrow roads and streets. The interior, meanwhile, includes clean lines and beautifully integrated tech including dual 10.1” infotainment screens which blend digital control with clarity.

Intuitive in-car tech is embedded as part of the fully connected driving experience. Google Maps, Assistant and Play Store are built in along with voice control and the most up to date navigation.

Safety is also a priority and standard safety features include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning for peace of mind. A full suite of driver assistance features is also available including adaptive cruise control and parking support.
