Well-known Mayo town store announces its closure

A Mayo boutique store has announced its upcoming closure.

Don Racine, based in Castlebar, took to social media to state their retirement.

The social post said: "After a lifetime in fashion, the time has come for us to hang up our boutique rails and step into retirement.

"Don Racine has been more than just a ladies boutique, it’s been part of the community, a place where we’ve shared laughter, conversations, and countless moments helping women feel stylish and confident. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible customers, many of whom became friends.

"We want to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us throughout this journey. Your loyalty and kindness have meant more than words can say.

"As we say goodbye, we’re holding a Retirement Closing Down Sale. Everything must go – beautiful pieces at once in a lifetime prices. This is your last chance to take home something special from Don Racine before we close our doors for good.
