Traffic gridlock in Mayo town following car fire
Traffic is backed up in Castlebar this afternoon after a car went on fire.
Traffic in Castlebar is heavily congested after a vehicle went on fire this afternoon.
The car went ablaze at Newtown but no injuries have been reported.
Lannagh Road has been closed to traffic to facilitate the removal of the vehicle.
Emergency services remain at the scene.
