Storm Amy: When will it hit Mayo?

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Wind warning for Ireland amid the arrival of a storm this Friday, October 3.

Storm Amy will bring strong to near gale force and gusty southwesterly winds.

The weather warning will be valid from 12pm on Friday until midnight.

Potential impacts include difficult travelling conditions, debris and the possibility of some fallen trees.

A Status Yellow Rain warning will also be in place for Mayo from tomorrow, Thursday, October 2.
