Sadness following death of Mayo woman who was 'held in very high esteem'
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
COMMUNITY NOTES: NORTH MAYO - WESTERN PEOPLE (FEBRUARY 24 EDITION)
The death took place last week of Mrs Margaret O’Hora (nee Finan), Cloonkee. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Paddy, brothers John and Peter, sisters Kathleen and Marie. Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons John and Gerard, daughter Colette, brothers Bernard, Paddy and Michael, grandchildren Caolán, Sean, Aoife, Brian, Diane, Ruairí, Karen, Eimear and Cian, great-grandchild Diego, son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Breege and Mary, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Margaret possessed a warm and endearing personality which she carried throughout her life not least in her nursing profession where she is fondly remembered for her sympathetic and compassionate care to her patients and colleagues at St. Joseph’s District Hospital, Ballina, where she worked for many years.
She was held in very high esteem throughout the community and beyond and this was reflected in the huge attendance at her obsequies at Hiney’s Funeral Home, Crossmolina, and at Requiem Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Ardagh, followed by her burial in Crossmolina cemetery.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
