The parish of Islandeady/Glenisland wished Rev. Mark Quinn the very best in the future following his ordination on Sunday, July 7, in Castlebar.
A large crowd of family, relatives and friends attended the ordination ceremony led by Archbishop Francis Duffy, Archbishop of Tuam Diocese.
Archbishop Duffy said in his homily "This is a great time to be a Catholic Priest in Ireland, as every era presents its opportunities" and he encouraged everyone to look to the future with hope.
Family and friends were proud to support Mark on his journey and be present on this very special day for him.
The Islandeady Parish received a nice letter from Rev. Mark recently thanking the Islandeady Adoration on Sunday and for starting him on his journey to the priesthood.
