The Cancer Fund for Children are building a therapeutic short break centre for children with cancer and their families in the Republic of Ireland so that no child has to face cancer alone.
Cancer Fund for Children is an All-Ireland charity providing emotional support to children diagnosed with cancer.
Their mission is to support each child and family, so they are better able to cope in the knowledge that they are not alone. Daisy Lodge, Newcastle, Co Down is a therapeutic and nurturing space that is purpose built to support families at the most vulnerable, difficult, and exhausting time in their lives. They currently only support one in seven families and are now building a second Daisy Lodge on the shores of the beautiful Lough Corrib which will enable them to ensure every child throughout Ireland gets the vital support they need.
