A South Mayo family have raised €24,000 for a local charity in memory of their son and brother.

Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly was in Cong last Friday to visit the site of the planned Daisy Lodge - a centre for children and families affected by a cancer diagnosis.

Former Mayo footballer Oisín Mullin will cut his hair for the first time in four years for a local charity. The Geelong Cats star took to Instagram to announce that he will be cutting his hair to raise money for the Daisy Lodge in Cong.
