It has been officially announced that Oasis are making a comeback in 2025, 15 years after their split.

The Gallagher brothers, Liam and Noel, are getting back together to perform a UK and Ireland tour next year, with dates in Dublin confirmed.

The band will play Croke Park for two nights (August 16 & 17) and perform gigs in Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh during their highly awaited reunion.

Furthermore, the brothers have Irish connections - including Mayo roots through their mother.

Their mother, Peggy, hails from Charlestown in Mayo and emigrated to Manchester at the age of eighteen before she raised her three sons - Paul, Noel and Liam. Their father, Tommy, is originally from Meath.

Following Oasis' split in 2009, Noel formed the High Flying Birds while Liam became a solo artist. Nevertheless, the 'Don't Look Back in Anger' artists are returning to the stage together.

Tickets for the 2025 Croke Park shows go on sale this Saturday, August 31 at 8am through Ticketmaster.
