Mulranny Arts welcomed friends and supporters on Saturday, June 21, to celebrate the official opening of its new Metals and Jewellery Studio, marking another exciting milestone in the organisation's continued development as a centre for arts education, creativity and culture on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The ribbon was officially cut by internationally acclaimed Irish master goldsmith and high jeweller Nigel O'Reilly, who joined guests for the occasion and shared insights from his remarkable career. His presence made the celebration especially meaningful as Mulranny Arts looks forward to inspiring the next generation of jewellery makers and metal artists.

The purpose-built studio features ten fully equipped professional jewellers' benches, together with industry-standard tools and machinery suitable for everyone from complete beginners to advanced makers and masterclasses. The new facility has been designed to host jewellery, silversmithing and metalworking workshops and creative retreats throughout the year.

"We are incredibly proud to open this beautiful new studio," said Cheryl Cobern Browne, founder and mission director of Mulranny Arts. "It represents another important step in our vision of creating world-class creative facilities in the west of Ireland, while providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to learn, create and connect through the arts."

Mulranny Arts extends its sincere thanks to everyone who joined the celebration and looks forward to welcoming participants from Ireland and abroad to experience this exciting new facility in the months and years ahead.
