New McDonald's in Mayo? Location and details revealed

A new McDonald's is being planned for Mayo.
The American fast food giant has submitted a planning application for permission to construct a single-storey drive-thru restaurant in Claremorris.
The building would be based at the lands adjoining Silverbridge Plaza and Shopping Centre, Knock Road, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
This would be the second McDonald's in Mayo, with the Castlebar restaurant operating since 1998.
The application was received by Mayo County Council last Friday, October 10.
