New Garda Superintendent appointed in Ballina
A new Superintendent has been appointed to Ballina following the most recent Appointments and Allocations announcement by An Garda Siochana.
Supt Ursula Hussey has been promoted to Ballina Garda Station with responsibility for the Mayo North Community Engagement Functional Area which is part of the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Garda Division.
In the only change announced for Mayo in the announcement, she replaces outgoing Supt Peter Conlon who had been appointed to Ballina in July 2024.
Supt Conlon has transferred to the North Western Regional HQ in Renmore, Galway City with responsibility for the Galway Crime Functional Area.
