Met Eireann issues further 21-hour weather warning for Mayo
Met Eireann have warned of strong winds and rain in county Mayo tomorrow (Saturday, December 30)
Met Éireann have issued a Status Yellow wind and rain warning for county Mayo for tomorrow (Saturday).
The weather service has warned that southwest winds will be strong and gusty at times, coupled with heavy rain and thundery showers.
They said this may lead to surface flooding, wave overtopping, loose debris and displacement of objects and will lead to difficult travelling conditions.
This Status Yellow warning will be valid from 2am on Saturday morning until 11pm on Saturday night, December 30.
There is currently a Status Yellow rainfall warning in place for north Mayo, which is valid until 9pm tonight.
