Mayo's Alfie represents the county in Petmania Puppy of the Year 2025

Mayo’s Alfie Quinn proudly represented the county in this year’s Petmania Puppy of the Year 2025 competition. 

He was joined by fellow Connacht finalists Kevin Crietzy from Galway, Skye Diffley from Leitrim, Susie O’Neill from Roscommon, and Dior McMahon from Sligo. Kevin Crietzy, a four-month-old Irish Wolfhound from Galway, went on to be named both Connacht Provincial Winner and All-Ireland Petmania Puppy of the Year 2025.

The announcement was made during a tail-wagging finale at Dublin’s Pet Expo on Saturday, 18th October, where Ireland’s top pups gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the nationwide contest. 

This year’s competition saw a record-breaking 1,700 entries from across all 26 counties, marking a joyful milestone in Petmania’s decade-long celebration of Ireland’s most cherished puppies.
