Mayo parish announces special guest for Jubilee Year celebrations

Kilvine Parish is preparing for a very special evening of faith, prayer, and music as part of the Jubilee Year celebrations.
On Friday, September 26th, 2025, at 8.00pm (doors open 7.30pm), parishioners and friends from across the region are warmly invited to gather in St. Joseph’s Church, Ballindine, for a community celebration filled with prayer, scripture, and song.
The evening will feature contributions of prayers and scripture readings from parish clergy, community, and ministry members, offering a rich reflection on the themes of the Jubilee Year. Guest artist James Kilbane will contribute a moving selection of hymns, psalms, and songs from his Christian music ministry, complementing the scripture and prayer themes shared by parish clergy and community members.
James Kilbane, well known nationally and internationally for his inspirational Christian and gospel music, will draw from a lifetime of faith and music to share songs that uplift and encourage, echoing the Jubilee’s message of hope and renewal.
Admission to the event is free, ensuring that all who wish to attend are welcome. A financial donation or freewill offering will be collected during the evening to help cover costs.
