Mayo family remembers loved one with charity climb of Croagh Patrick

Pictured are Sean Leach and Siobhan Kelly, on behalf of their family, presenting a cheque of €2,300 to Hugh Rainey, Centre Manager at Rural Training Centre, following their climb of Croagh Patrick in March in remembrance of their son and brother, Paul Leach. Also pictured are Damien Keane, Instructor, Rural Training Centre, and Ciara Kelly.

Earlier this year, members of the Leach family climbed Croagh Patrick in remembrance of their loved one Paul Leach from Charlestown. They raised €2,300 which they kindly donated to the HSE Rural Training Centre in Castlebar.

The HSE Rural Training Centre forms part of Mayo Mental Health Services Social Inclusion Programme. The centre offers a non-medical, holistic environment where service users are supported on their recovery journey by developing independence, skills, and interests along with an opportunity to enhance social inclusion. The main activities at the centre involve gardening, horticulture, art, crafts and catering with a strong focus on engagement with nature.
