Mayo attraction to benefit from new shelters and shower

New shelters and outdoor shower installed at the Point in Westport thanks to Community Recognition Fund.
Westport residents and visitors can now enjoy enhanced amenities at The Point, thanks to the recent construction of new shelters and an outdoor shower. These facilities, which are now fully operational, aim to improve the experience for beachgoers as well as beautify the area with their abstract design.
The project was made possible through funding from the Community Recognition Fund, a program administered by the Department of Rural and Community Development (@DeptRCD).
This initiative is designed to support local projects that enhance community spaces and infrastructure.
New shelters and an outdoor shower were recently constructed and are now operating at the Point in Westport.
