Man (50s) dies following workplace accident in Mayo

Gardaí and emergency services responded to a fatal workplace accident at a premises near Tourmakeady, Co. Mayo, at approximately 11:30am on Saturday, 29th November 2025.

A male in his 50s was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body was removed from the scene for a post-mortem examination.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has been notified and will conduct its own investigation.

A file will be prepared for the Coroner.
