Luxurious supercars to visit Mayo this month

The fifth annual Cannonball 4x4 Overland Adventure sets off on November 14th and 15th to explore Mayo with an array of both luxurious & off-road ready 4X4’s and spectators are welcome to view the cars from 5pm each evening at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. 

This year, there is a lot of excitement around the new Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato in Ireland for the first time. This is where supercar performance meets off-road rebellion. With raised suspension, all-wheel drive, rugged wheel arches and rally-inspired attitude, it’s built to conquer the kind of terrain most Lamborghinis only dream about. Beneath the dust, a 5.2-litre V10 engine roars with 610 horsepower - a symphony of speed even on gravel and grit.

Also joining this years Cannonball 4x4 Overland Adventure is another spectator favourite; the Porsche 911 Dakar which takes an icon of the racetrack and sets it free in the wild. With rally-bred suspension, all-terrain tyres, raised ride height and a thundering 473-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six engine, it’s engineered to devour gravel, sand and snow with the same poise it brings to the autobahn. For Cannonball 4x4 Overland, the 911 Dakar is precision meets adventure — a masterpiece of German engineering reborn for the untamed. From winding backroads to rugged off-grid trails, it’s proof that true performance knows no limits.

Other spectators favourites among the convoy include Bentley Bentayga’s, Defenders old and new, monster Ford Raptors, a collection of Range Rover SVRs, Land Rover Defender 110’s, Audi Q8’s, Audi SQ7’s, Range Rover Sport’s, Jeep Wrangler’s, Porsche Cayenne’s & many more.
