A Mayo school has wished a valued staff member the very best upon their retirement.
In a social post, St. John's N.S Logboy said: "We said a very special goodbye to our wonderful school secretary, Joelyn, who has been at the heart of Logboy School for over seven years.
"Joelyn’s kindness, dedication, and endless support have touched every part of our school community. From her warm welcome in the office each morning to the care she’s shown for every child, parent, and staff member — she has truly been the heartbeat of our school.
"We are so grateful for everything she has contributed over the years — her love for the children, her patience, and her constant willingness to help wherever she was needed.
"A huge thank you to our amazing Parents’ Association for the beautiful bouquet they gave to Joelyn today.
Joelyn, we will miss you dearly, but we know you’ll bring your warmth and positivity to every new adventure that awaits.
