Illegal fireworks seized in Garda operation
Gardaí are encouraging the public to report any information relating to the sale, possession or misuse of illegal fireworks.
Gardaí from the Mayo Divisonal Drugs Unit, working alongside Garda attached to the Ballina Community Engagement area , have seized a quantity of illegal fireworks as part of ongoing efforts to protect the local community.
The seizure highlights the importance of community engagement and cooperation in tackling the possession and misuse of illegal fireworks.
Illegal fireworks can pose serious risks to public safety, causing injuries, fires and distress to members of the community.
