Three worthy causes benefit from local fundraiser

The Reynolds family presenting a cheque to staff of the Surgical D Ward at Mayo University Hospital.

The Reynolds family, from Bunninadden and Ballymote, would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who aided in organising and participated in the charity event they held this time last year.

The event raised a total of €17,025 which was divided equally between the three hospitals who all assisted in the recovery of their son.

The three beneficiaries are the intensive care unit at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin; Surgical Ward D at Mayo University Hospital, and Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, which is based in Sligo.

The funds raised have greatly benefited these facilities in the ongoing care of their patients.

The Reynolds family want to thank all those who bought tickets, donated online and the wonderful sponsors on the night.

Thanks to the generous donations, these three wonderful facilities can further aid in patient care and rehabilitation while continuing to provide comfort for their patients and their families.
