New appointment at children’s facility in Mayo

Jordan Cannon has joined as Senior Occupational Therapist at Sensational Kids in Claremorris.
An award-winning social enterprise and charity dedicated to providing affordable and accessible developmental assessments and therapies to children and adolescents with additional needs has announced the appointment of a Senior Occupational Therapist at its Mayo facility.
The Connacht Child Development Centre in Claremorris is one of four in the country operated by Sensational Kids, which runs similar services in Kildare, Cork and Monaghan.
In her role as Senior Occupational Therapist (OT), Limerick native Jordan Cannon will focus on providing high-quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy intervention to children with a range of developmental and additional needs. Her role involves working closely with families, educators and Sensational Kids’ multidisciplinary team to create tailored individual therapy plans that support children in developing the skills they need for daily life, learning and play.
The Child Development Centre in Claremorris currently houses a total of four staff specialising in occupational therapy and speech and language therapy.
