Genfitt to continue operating from Kiltimagh

The firm that acquired Genfitt last year have announced that the company’s operations are to continue from its current facility in Kiltimagh.

Following its acquisition of Genfitt, Kramp had announced plans earlier this year to establish a new warehouse facility in County Mayo.

This led to concerns locally about the loss of jobs resulting from the potential move.

However, Kramp has now decided to take a more strategic approach and continue operating from the current facility in Kiltimagh.

“The consequence of this decision is that we will continue operating from our current facility in Kiltimagh”, said Mr. Ronan Egan, Commercial Director of Genfitt.

“Staying in the current location allows us to strategically allocate resources to optimise our operations and prepare for future opportunities that align with our growth ambitions”.

Kramp completed the acquisition of Genfitt in the summer of 2023, a move aimed at strengthening its market presence and enhancing its portfolio of offerings.

Genfitt was established in Kiltimagh in 1973 and has grown to be the largest independent wholesale supplier of components, machinery parts and spares to the agricultural industry in Ireland.
