Congratulations: Mayo photographer earns major national recognition

Kilmovee, Co Mayo – Jessica Glynn, an architectural photographer based in Kilmovee, Co Mayo, has been named Architectural Photographer of the Year by the Irish Professional Photographers & Videographers Association (IPPVA), a major national recognition within the industry.

The award was announced at the IPPVA Annual Awards Gala, which celebrated excellence in professional photography across Ireland. Glynn’s work was recognised for its strong composition, use of light and ability to capture the character of architectural spaces.

Originally from New York, Glynn has been living and working in Ireland for the past five years, during which time she has established herself as a leading architectural and interiors photographer. She works with architects, designers and magazines across Ireland and internationally, photographing private homes, hospitality projects and heritage buildings.

In October 2025, Glynn published her third photography book, "House Love- Moor Baker Architects" with Vendome Press, further strengthening her international profile.
