Congratulations to Jimmy Mills formally of Gorthmellia, Barnatra, who received the Resident Manager of the Year award by the Hibernian Society in New York recently pictured with his wife Cathy, daughter Cathy and son Jimmy.

Congratulations, Jimmy Mills, formerly of Gorthmellia, Barnatra, and resident in New York for over thirty years and has been long-time resident manager of a building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, was celebrated as Resident Manager of the Year by the Hibernian Society at a dinner held recently at Tavern on the Green.

With more than 40 years of dedicated service to both his building and the Hibernian Society, Jimmy has built a reputation for professionalism, leadership, and genuine care for his residents, some of whom are well-known Movie stars and TV personalities. 

The Hibernian Society, an organisation that celebrates Irish heritage and community involvement, selects one member each year who exemplifies excellence in building management and service. 

This year’s award recognises Jimmy’s lasting impact on his Upper West Side community and his decades-long contribution to the society’s mission of friendship, unity, and charity.
