Bar of the Year Awards: Several Mayo venues are shortlisted

A popular Ballina venue is shortlisted for a national award.
Bar Square on Garden Street is in the running for LateBar/Nightclub in the 2024 Bar of the Year Awards.
Mayo, and especially Westport, is well-represented in the awards. In Westport, JW’s Brasserie is in the running for Best Wine Bar and Best Restaurant Bar while the Wyatt Hotel is nominated for Best Hotel Cocktail Bar, Cosy Joe’s is nominated for Best Live Entertainment and Best Local Bar and the Porter House is also shortlisted for Best Local Bar.
Ashford Castle Hotel is nominated in the 5-Star Hotel Bar category. Nevin’s Newfield Inn in Tiernaur has been nominated for Innovative Bar and Visitor Attraction, as has Cobbler's Bar in Westport.
