Ballina business hosts music star with Mayo roots

Singer and musician Kevin Rowland was pictured in Ballina's The Cot & Cobble earlier this week.

Rowland, whose parents are from Crossmolina, is best know for being the frontman of Dexys Midnight Runners.

The band had a number of hits during the 1980s, including the classic song "Come On Eileen".

The Cot & Cobble said they were honoured to welcome Rowland and his family for lunch at their restaurant.
